In my day to day work there are frequently medium delays; waiting for a build to finish or a server to warm up. While staring at a loading spinner is one way to pass the time, I’ll frequently jump to something else, and sometimes get distracted. Lately I’ve been picking up little puzzle games for these moments. Small, simple, and easy to pick up and put down. Lately the classic Battleship Puzzle has been my go to. Now with Tray Battleship I can play a round (or two if the build is particularly slow) and still keep an eye on progress so I don’t get too distracted.
It feels a little backwards that picking up a game can be a productivity boost, but I can’t count the number of times I’ve gone to check my email while a build is happening and get totally sucked into another task. Hopefully Tray Battleship brings you some enjoyment and a pleasant break.
