Tray-tober Day 22: Tray Git

Managing many different code repositories can be a real pain, especially for a project like Tray-tober. Interacting with the repos might be opening the folder, or in the terminal, or opening the remote to do other work around the code like issue management. In the past I’ve solved this many different ways from a great Git utility in Command Pallet to saving lists of URLs in Text Grab’s Quick Simple Lookup.

This is where Tray Git shines. Quick access to tedious data in a purpose build way. Git is inherently local while much of the work happens in the the browser at the git host. There is nothing magic about this tool, and it almost is too simple for the effort, but now that is not the case.

Like Tray QR, git management is common on Mac as well… so Local Git List is the MacOS version of Tray Git!

Happy Tray-tober!
