The spirit of Tray-tober is to build small utility to be more efficient on your system. Smaller apps should take less resources and enable your PC to run faster for longer. Another major source of performance pain is when a rouge process starts to take a bunch of resources while you’re working. Keeping Task Manager open all of the time is fine, but it isn’t really idea. Traydog to the rescue!
Keep an eye on network connectivity or processes to ensure you are always operating at peak performance. Sometimes while I’m out and about using unfamiliar networks I can’t tell if my device is connected or not. Again, Traydog can automatically enable network monitoring to let you know when you’re disconnected.
This is just the beginning of what a watchdog in the tray could do, what else should Traydog keep an eye out for?
Happy Tray-tober!
Joe
