Where yesterday’s app Tray Do embodied a classic software project in tray app form, Tray Radar is the opposite. Taking several heavy experiences: mapping and weather radar, and brining them down into a thoughtfully crafted tray app experience, Tray Radar shows how small experiences doesn’t mean technically simple.
Inspired by my love of checking the weather radar, and only being able to do that in a browser; Tray Radar removes another reason for me to reach for a browser; saving time, RAM, and a big source of distraction.
This app would not be possible without the brilliant work of Morten Nielsen and his native WinUI mapping control: WinUIEx.Maps.
Happy Tray-tober!
