Correct perspective then measure!

I’m excited to share the new features of Magick Crop & Measure, an app that makes it easy to edit images and take measurements without needing expensive tools. When I was working as a mechanical engineer I came across tools which could do optical measurements and since then I always wanted to have the same capability without the high industrial prices!

Challenges of Measuring

Magick Crop & Measure started as a way to correct perspective distortion because that is the first step in taking accurate measurements from photos. Getting accurate measurements from images can be tricky, especially if objects aren’t on the same plane. Perspective distortion can throw off measurements, you can correct offset angles right within the app before you start measuring. This keeps measurements accurate and easy to capture.
